Hobbes & Bacon

I loved Calvin & Hobbes for its entire run – it was second to none (with only Gary Larson’s The Far Side even in the same league back in the day). Like all fans, I was terribly disappointed when the comic ended abruptly. But now, as far as I am concerned, these two fan-made comics are now Calvin & Hobbes canon. And I finally have closure.

You know, this just complicates the question of whether or not Hobbes was really alive or not. Either he is, and Calvin callously stuck his buddy in a closet for years, or Hobbes really is just a stuffed animal and Calvin has passed on his mental illness to his daughter.

The comic seems to imply the latter . . . I mean, the little girl is already seeing Donald Trump in her closet when she calls for Calvin . . . .

@LateWhiteRabbit: I’m pretty sure Hobbes is just a stuffed animal and 98% of the comics are just Calvin’s imagination, but for all intents and purposes other than questioning whether Hobbes is really a tiger or not, it doesn’t matter.

Did anyone else notice the links aren’t working? Well, they are, but the site is empty. There’s no content. It’s great, from what I’ve seen, but I wish they’d get the official site up and running.
