Frayed Knights – Chapel of Anarchy
Posted by Rampant Coyote on April 6, 2010
A quickie update on Frayed Knights… ‘cuz it looks cool. A little dark here, but cool. It was originally posted in the forums.
This should really be the climax of Act 1, but it’s … not. It’s close, though.
Somehow what my level designers are doing seems a lot cooler than what I’m working on. I thought rank was supposed to have its privileges?

I actually wasn’t planning on demoing the game at this Indie Night, since I did it last time. 😛 Although being embarrassed about showing FK *once again* might be enough to guilt me into getting this game DONE!!!!!! It needs to be DONE!!!!! Why isn’t it DONE?!?!?!?!?
Sorry. Emotions got the best of me.

Looks good! Nice lighting — makes it look creepy and vaguely unsettling, as it should be. =)

That looks incredible!

Thank you 🙂 I am actually designing the rest of the level to look a lot more like that, kind of vaguely underground city-ish, like old EQ’s neriak.
Yes, there’s no reason to put a roof on an underground building except privacy, but I am doing it anyway… sometimes fantasy buildings make no sense.

Totally put roofs on! Even though it’s underground, there’s still stuff that the residents wouldn’t want falling into their abode: water, dirt, rocks, spiders, trolls, etc. =)

heh, so I can finally build a town, I just have to make it underground 🙂
