StoryHack – Free Issue and Kickstarter Reminder

Have you read Issue 0 of StoryHack yet? If not, be sure and grab it while it’s free! It includes my story, “Dead Last” (which appears… dead last… of course). Actually, let me know what you think of the story. I’d like to do more with this character and this world of sorcery-meets-espionage.

This was a “proof of concept” issue to get the magazine off the ground. If you like it and would like some more, the Kickstarter for the next issue is now active! It’s getting pretty close to the goal, with 16 days to go.

StoryHack has an emphasis on stories with a pulp flavor. What that means in the modern era depends on the editor… just like it meant in the actual pulp era. Naturally, I’m inclined to approve of the cut of Bryce Beattie’s editorial jib, since he bought my story and those of some other writers I admire. 🙂
