There's been a tendency lately for indies to treat Kickstarter like an ATM. As many have found, it just doesn't work that way. A well-needed dose of reality here:
On Kickstarter, There Are No Guarantees
Not saying it's not awesome. But it's definitely just another option that may not pan out.
