A ZORK MMO?!?!?!?
Ya gotta be freakin' kidding me:
Zork to be Revived as a Browser MMO.
Then again, now that I think of it, that could be pretty cool. Though I don't know how in the world the puzzle-based adventure gameplay of Zork would possibly work. I'm guessing by the description that they are leaning more in the direction of traditional MUD style text-based RPG-esque-ish-ness.

By the article it sounds to me like they're going in a Kingdom of Loathing direction.. text-based gameplay through webpages, with limited turns per day so that everybody can keep it casual-like. That's the vibe I get from it at least.
KoL is a brilliant game though, I've always wondered why there's no other browser game that does it -exactly- like they do. It also would be a good fit for a Zork setting (actually, I guess the argument could be made that the KoL setting IS an unofficial adaptation of Zork).

Oh and I doubt very much that they have any intention of keeping the fiendish puzzle-based gameplay of the real Zork.. again by the article's general tone, it sounds like they're thinking of basically a light-hearted turn-grinder with the Zork name slapped on it. Which may not be a bad thing, I guess
