Rampant Coyote Unplugged
Still no internet connection at my home, so I've only got a twitter-like posts I can throw onto the blog right now. Shame on me for not having a better backlog of posts. I'll learn.
Interesting note: My wife finally played some Fable 2 last night, which I'd gotten her for Christmas. The Internet is too big of a distraction, I guess... :) Anyway, she was going to play it for a half an hour before going to bed. About 90 minutes later, she came downstairs and said, "That game is REALLY good." And she proceeded to tell me all about the introductory storyline / tutorial. And the interesting choices that had to be made.
Sounds like there are some lessons to be learned from that game.

It is, indeed, a really good game. There are choices aplenty and they have some real sense of impacting the game and the 'world' therein. It also has made me ridiculously capitalistic, buying up shops and houses at a ridiculous rate (and the Temple of Light). I was a bit annoyed by a set-piece in the middle that felt very forced, but all in all, I think it's a great game, though I can never see myself playing it through again, even to be 'evil' where the first time I was 'good'.
Gaming wives are great!
First Wife: It's 3 AM. Aren't you coming to bed.
Me: Yeah, I'm almost finished with this quest.
First Wife: Ugh!

Second Wife: It's 3 AM. Aren't you coming to bed?
Me: Yeah, I'm almost finished with this quest.
Second Wife: Ugh, I hate that quest. Don't forget to pick up the guy's head.
Me: Thanks.
Second Wife: 'Night.

LOL - My wife doesn't usually cut me QUITE that much slack, but she did end up staying up with me until almost dawn to see the ending of Persona 3. She's awesome.
But she also likes to abuse me the next day after I've been up all night gaming...

I'm not married yet, but my girlfriend is often up later than me playing games... several nights recently she has been up until 5:30 AM playing Left 4 Dead or Gears of War 2.
I am the gaming wife. In fact, I do more of it than my husband.
Hubby: "we need to get the kids to bed."
Me: "Just let me finish this mission first."

I did start a new game, not to be evil though. I gave myself the challenge of never buying any new weapons, forcing myself to rely purely on Will/magic.
