Indie Superstar
The indies continue to create their own infrastructure to support our habit... I mean our BUSINESS. Right. Business.

The first (and hopefully not last) installment "Indie Superstar," a web-based video news show and commentary about indie games is available here.

It's campy and tongue-in-cheek, which players of Void War should recognize as being a style that appeals to me (too many years of being an MST-3K fan, I guess). Followers of this blog might find the quotes section a little bit familiar, too...

Thanks to Dejobaan (Ichiro Lambe) for letting me know about this one.

I have to admit, there's something mildly arousing about hearing a hot girl say my name all over The Internet.

I enjoyed it, it's good. I'm genuinely looking forward to future episodes. Just hope they up the 'actual content'...!

Thanks for the plug, Jay. :)

I wanted a nice quote to counter the tidbits from Senators Clinton and Lieberman. I had to look no further than Jay's essays on video games in politics. I was tempted to attribute that quote to the "Senator from Utah."

We'll be tightening up the script as time goes on. More content per show; more density of content; better show.

Or we'll mess it all up completely. Who knows?

Heh --- right now at least one of the Senators from Utah is something of an embarassment to us techie types... described as a "Digital Joe McCarthy."

It's a description I find endlessly amusing.

Anyway - if I were ever to try and run for a major political office, I'd need to have my head examined. And all it would take is a quick glance at google's archives about me for me to get drummed out of the race faster than you can say, "Campaign Reform."

ANYWAY - I'm pro-show, as I'm pro-anything that supports indie gaming!
